I am very happy

The series I am very happy is a work of acrylic paint and markers on canvas and emerges as one of the responses to Bernotti's research in the PAPELOGÍA project, where the artist investigated her own diaries and personal archives from 1991 to 2021.

All the characters in these works come from the newspapers and the repeated statement over the years: "I am very happy." Bernotti responds to the archetypes he found within his diaries and believes that personal stories are fundamentally guided by the collective history of the human species as a whole.
